Bafmeng United Football Academy, BUFA, from the North West region has qualified for the Elite Two championship after a 2#1 victory recorded against Volcan FC of Noun Sunday July 27, 2023, at the Ngoa-Ekelle stadium in Yaounde.
Coach Soh Simplis Magloire’s tactical know how played the trick and did the job for Bafmeng United in extra time.
The first tactical change won by the coach was giving the first start in the competition for young and versatile defender Sigfrid Kidio Baam. Sigfrid pulled up a man of the match performance in the middle of the back three.
The Special One as he is fondly called, coach Soh Simplis’ reading of the game and his substitutions paid off for Bafmeng United.
Milton Ngeh who came in as a second half substitute provided the assist for the opening goal in extra time. Milton’s long range cross was headed into the back of the net by Ngong Livinus.
In the second half of extra time, two substitutes, Genesis Shu Neba and Enah Ashu Toda combined beautifully and Enah Ashu Toda completed the move with a beautiful goal.
Coach Soh Simplis has for the past months won several attributes.
During the Trophee des regions held in Yaounde, he emerged as best Coach after his North West U-18 selection won the trophy.
Coach Soh Simplis Magloire was recently appointed by FECAFOOT National President, Samuel Eto’o Fils as the Regional Technical Director for the North West region.
Currently undergoing his CAF License ‘A’ coaching certificate, coach Soh Simplis from reports is currently being scouted by some elite one clubs in Cameroon.
