Aigle Royal of Menoua have announced the signing of 2023 national Interpools trio Mohamed Moustapha Lamaje, Kwedi Samuel and Fofana Fekir from West regional championship side Volcan of Noun on a two-year contract each.

Moustapha and Fofana impressed as right and left-back respectively for Volcan during last month’s national round robbing tournament in Yaoundé while Kwedi was also outstanding in goal, thus attracting interest from the Aigle Royal scouting team led by head coach Olivier Nankam.

The club completed administrative and medical formalities about their signings on Monday before announcement 24 hours later while waiting for the transfer registration window to open on August 17.

Having secured a mid-table finish upon their return to the big time last season, Aigle Royal officials are in the market to build a more competitive side ahead of the 2023/24 season.

El Pacha diehards have been all joyous this week after their club announced the capture of deadly finisher Amine Hiver from Colombe of Dja and Lobo.

The latest additions only highlight the club’s efforts to build a squad capable of facing the test of the Elite One championship and delivering better results than before.
