Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe striker Ikose Njuma Conrad is hoping to beat Frederick Etoumbang, Bide Ndohougar Luc in the MTN Elite Two scoring charts this season going into the final match day on Sunday.

The Cameroon youth international netted his eleventh league goal of the season in the 2-0 demolition of Unisport of Bafang on Wednesday but he remains one behind Etoumbang after the TKC striker also found the target against Eding Sport.

His best campaign to date has been this season at ISOHSA as the former Victoria United FC and CUSA finisher has reached double figures in his second time of asking, scoring 11 goals for ISOHSA.

“It’s nice to have this competition with Fred to finish the top scorer. It’s always a good challenge to be part of,” Njuma told kick442.com.

“Last seasons I was in the race but didn’t managed to come out on top.

“It’s a big challenge for me to finish ahead of an experienced strikers his season and gives me the desire to do more for my team.”

“But mind you!! Winning the personal trophy is as important as winning the three points tomorrow.”

ISOHSA will cap an unforgettable playoffs campaign in the West Region of Cameroon on Sunday when they clash with already-relegated Rangers of Bafut at the MTN Arena in Mbouda.

The contest counting for match day 7 of the championship could see the club emerge best in the relegation playoffs if they better the results of their rivals YAFOOT FC and Unisport of Bafang.

Njuma who has scored five goals and made three assists in six playoffs matches will be the center of attraction as he chases the golden boot.
