The mortal remains of Honorable Koa Luc will arrive Cameroon this Thursday, June 20 via the Nsimalen International Airport.
The corpse of the former Executive committee member of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) who died abroad earlier this month will arrive home at 9:30pm.
A release from the social media handles of the Guinness Super League have it that the plane carrying his mortal remains will be received by football stakeholders and a mass will be made at the Airport in the presence of players of his club and other officials before taking the corpse into town.
Late Koa Luc was president of 2023 Cameroon women’s top-flight championship champions, Lekie Filles and guided the club to glory in the past few years, largely thanks to his massive investment.
He who also served as the General Coordinator of the various national selections of Cameroon between 2014-2016 was a dedicated servant of football.
The multi facet gentleman who served football in various capacities for over 20 years, and his death is a huge loss to the country’s football industry.
His fairytale journey with Opep FC of Garoua during the 2002 national interpools in Yaoundé, plus a first place finish and runners-up finish with Lekie Filles FC in the 2023 and 2024 seasons respectively represent some of the highlights of his glittering football career as a club
Though he is expected to be buried in the weeks ahead, details about his funeral are yet to be communicated by his family.
