Heartland Queens decorates ‘the Cream De La’cream’ of sports in Imo state

Heartland Queens football club of Owerri on Monday October 2nd unveiled the new kit for the 2023/2024 league season as the management decorated the Imo state commissioner for Youths, Sports and social development Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo (Agujiegbe) with the new season kit, Heartland Queens media reports.

Also decorated with the Club official season Jersey was the Director of Sports, Sir Ferdinand Emeana and also the Chairman Imo state football association Barrister Ifeanyi Dike (Fela) who collectively constitutes the custodians of sports in the state.

The management, the coaching crew and the club captain who represented the players decorated this sports personalities in appreciation for all the support from the Governor of Imo state His Excellency distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma through the office of the commissioner for Youths, Sports and social development.

Heartland Queens further assured the commissioner to reciprocate the Governor’s love, Support and kind gesture on the field of play by coming out victorious by the end of the 2023/2004 NWFL season.

In response, The sports Commissioner Hounourable Emeka Okoronkwo said;

“I appreciate Heartland Queens for the honor bestowed upon me. The shared prosperity government led by our Governor distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma is committed to supporting and promoting sports in the state.

The governor’s vision includes fostering a conducive environment for athletes to thrive, enhancing sports infrastructure, and creating opportunities for the youth to excel in various sporting activities.

And I assure you that the government will leave no stone unturned to ensure a triumphant 2023/2024 NWFL season for Heartland Queens,” Okoronkwo concluded.

In another news, Heartland Queens are set for the NWFL league body Annual General Assembly (AGA) coming up on Thursday 5th of October in Lagos and will be well represented at the Assembly.
