” The results are quite exceptional. We tried to set in motion all regions of the country in terms of practicing the discipline. There are club presidents. There are trade union leaders who know very well how things happen. We worked in very good conditions with a lot of solidarity and we believe that the best is yet to come. We are certain that Cameroonian Handball will progress. And within 5 years, I look forward to seeing you so that we can be at the top of African Handball,”He said.

“The next challenge for us will be, the revision of our texts. Because we do not have good texts within the Cameroonian Handball Federation. The second thing, is the training of trainers at the level of the Cameroonian Handball Federation. There will be several training sessions which will be organized by the African Confederation of the discipline here in Cameroon, particularly with regard to the different types of licenses.”

” We are also up for organizing the IHE Trophy, which is a competition of the governing body of Handball at the Junior and Cadet levels. This competition will take place here in Cameroon next May and June. Then, the Cameroonian Handball Federation will organize by the end of 2024, the African Club Cup Champions. This is an important challenge for us.”

“The objective being to align with all that is international practice at the level of Cameroon. I can reassure you that we are ready to organize this prestigious event with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education,” Oumate ended.
