The final Guinnessico of Guinness Super League season 3 between Amazone FAP and Lékié Football Filles ended in a 4-0 victory for Stéphane Ndzana’s girls.
In this match, the NTM showed their efficiency on the pitch. Just after the 45th minute, Raïssa Nnanga scored the first goal of the game, putting Lékié in the driving seat just before half-time.
After the break, the two teams played to a draw for the first 15 minutes. Before Brenda Tabe scored Lékié’s second goal. However, the FAP forwards, led by Suzie Mbiandji, Naomie Ndjoah Eto and Confidence Bongben, who came on as a substitute, continued to mount attacks on the Lékié camp, where the defence of Francesca Ntsama, Orline Djutchie and Brigitte Moumazim remained undaunted.
On the counter-attack in midfield, Nicole Ndjock Pouhe combined well with Raïssa Nnanga, who slipped the ball to Cordelia Achang, who in turn passed it back to Brenda Tabe, who was unfortunately brought down in Eleonor Kana’s penalty area. In the 80th minute, Marie Gisèle Ngah Manga converted the penalty for Lékié, automatically registering 19 goals for the season in the Guinness Super League. The Amazones saw red and were unable to play their game against the Lékié machine. Coach Stéphane Ndzana was inspired to bring on Annick Manga Zouma, who made it 4-0 to Lékié.
Lékié ended the season on a high with 57 points from 22 games, including 18 wins, 3 draws (2 0-0 with FC Ebolowa) and 1 loss. The club scored 63 goals against 11 conceded. NTM alone scored just over 44 goals. The Armed Forces and Police finished 5th with 38 points, divided between 30 goals scored and 22 conceded. In the final Guinnessico of the season, Brenda Tabe was crowned Woman Of Guinnessico.
