Kampala Queens were crowned champions of the Uganda Women’s top flight division on Sunday.

Unbeaten in all the 14 games this season ,the Queens of Soccer sealed the championship with 4 games left to end the season.

𝑲𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒂 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒔 2#0 𝑼𝑪𝑼 𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒔.

Kampala Queens came into this fixture with a mission to seal their first league title in History.

The Kabojja based side needed a point ,but there were able to secure all the maximum points on the day.

An own goal from defender Bridget ,and midfielder Shamirah Nalugya saw them complete a league double over the Cardinals.

This means Kampala Queens will be representing Uganda at the CECAFA Zonal Champions league Qualifiers come this year.

𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 1#0 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒍𝒂 𝑯𝑺

Noeline Namiro ,came off the bench to grab all the three points for the reigning champions in Nakawa.

She Corporate who were dominant in all the proceedings ,managed to retain all the maximum points at home.

The win was crucial for the sharks , moving them to the 5th position with 17 points.

𝑨𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒐 𝑮𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒅 3-2 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑫𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔.

The most exciting side since the start of the second round continued their winning run.

Looking inevitable ,Asubo Gafford pulled another important win against former champions to boost their survival chances this season.

The goals for Gafford came from Kamiyat ,Fatuma and own goal from Florence Nazizi while Diana Nantogo and Joweria Nagadya scored for the visitors.

The victory moved Asubo Gafford out of the red zone.

The valley warriors ran riot in Wakiso after putting 5 goals past helpless side Rines SS.

Kawempe , impressive since the start of year have gathered 13 points out of the possible 15.

Aisha Nantongo , Hadijah Nandago,Allen Nassazi and from Shakira Nyinagahirwa were on scoresheet for Kawempe.

Rines SS got the consolation through Eva Naggayi courtesy of a penalty.

Kawempe now sit second on the log behind Champions Kampala Queens.

Makerere University came from behind to secure a late victory against the kiddawalime girls.

Uganda Martyrs had taken an early through their captain Catherine Nagadya.

Sharon Namatovu and a strike from Aisha Namagembe subjected Martyrs to their second consecutive defeat.

The victory meant She Mak moved out of the red zone while Uganda Martyrs dropped to the third position.
