Cameroon women’s top tier side Lekie Football Filles of Yaounde, has announced that goal poacher Marie Gisele Divine Ngah Manga, will return to the club after a short stint in Russia.
The 20-year-old goal getting started the 2022-2023 Guinness Super League season in scintillating form, and netted five goals in seven games for the league leaders.
A switch to Russia quickly appeared on the cards, and Lokomotiv Moscow was the destination. After netting twice in a friendly game for Lokomotiv Moscow, all was set for former FK Okzhetpes Kokshetau forward to pen a long term deal. But now, Lekie FF has announced that both parties failed to agree on some details and the forward will now return back home.
In a communiqué signed by Lekie FF’s president Koa Luc, he stipulates that “we find it inappropriate to accept the last details on the proposition of the contract the club gave us.”
Ngah Manga will now return to the Guinness Super League, and help Lekie FF in their quest for their first league title. She last featured for the club on February 18, in their 4-0 win over AS AWA FF.
Since she left for Russia, Lekie FF has played two games, where they drew zero all against FC Ebolowa, before their 7-1 hammering of Ngadeu FF last Sunday.
Guinness Super League fans will once again be excited to watch the attacking trio of Brenda Tabe, Ngah Manga and Raissa Nnanga.
