Cameroon and Colombe Sportives winger Jerome Ngom Mbekeli, has given a big transfer update about his future, after a Man of the Match performance against Congo at the ongoing African Nations championship in Algeria.

Ngom scored the lone goal of the game at the  63rd minute, heading home a fine cross from Ramses Donfack, to secure Cameroon all three points at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran on Monday night.

The pacy winger put the red devils backline in difficulties throughout the game, and provided enough supplies to Junior Kemajou and Ramses Donfack, who were not clinical enough in front of goal.

Deservedly awarded the Man of the Match, Ngom Mbekeli, who is one of Cameroon’s brightest prospects at the moment, hinted that he has a deal in Europe, though is fully focused on the CHAN.

“we spoke about it just yesterday. There is already a contract offer in Europe,” Ngom told reporters in Oran after the game.

“What I’m looking forward to is to continue this competition and try to go as far as possible. I’m poised to take what comes. When I was called up for the CHAN, I had to answer present because it’s Cameroon. When you get a call from your country, you have to answer present. Afterwards, I look forward to responding to the European clubs that have contacted me,” he added.

The 24_year_old winger burst into the lamplight during the recent world cup in Qatar, where he came off the bench and provided the assist for Vincent Aboubakar’s goal in Cameroon’s historic win over Brazil.

Now a full dependable in Alioum Saidou’s side that is in search of Cameroon’s first silverware at the CHAN, Ngom says his aim was to inspire Cameroon to victory and the Man of the match award just came as a plus.

“My goal was to bring energy and pace into our attack and I did exactly that. I wanted to inspire Cameroon to victory and I did everything within my means to achieve that. I am so glad that we won the game and this award means a lot,” said Ngom.

The former APEJES of Mfou man has had a spell abroad, when he represented the likes of MFK Vyško in the Czech republic, Sporting Kansas City II in the United States and California based San Diego Loyal Soccer Club.

It is now visibly clear that in no distance time, Jerome Ngom Mbekeli, will return to Europe, this time around on a big deal.
