Justin Chamba and Martin Godson Money have earned Dynamo FC of Douala three points over Leopard Sportive, following a comeback win, at the Bonamoussadi stadium in Douala.

The Douala derby saw Leopard take the lead early into the game but at the end of the day, Dynamo moved out of the 11th spot on the classification table to send Leopard to the danger zone.

Four minutes into the encounter, Hamadou Zapha put Leopard ahead via a swift and smart long shot following a renounce from inside the box as well as laxity from the defenders to reach the ball first.

An applaudable save from goalkeeper Eugene Essome, denied Dynamo a gleaming opportunity in front of goal to get an equalizer after over 20 minutes of struggles yielding no fruits.

However, Dynamo’s forward, Martin Chamba headed past goalkeeper Essome and the ball went in straight to the back of the empty net. At the 34th minute it became 1-1.

An even more heated clash was witnessed out there before a packed stadium, giving both sides were sharing the spoils, a score line they held until the break.

Leopard of Douala

Recall that, Leopard came from behind to hold Victoria United FC of Limbe to a 1-1 draw in match day 14 but faced the reverse against Dynamo who played out a zero all draw with AS Lausanne last Sunday.

Five minutes upon resumption, coach Jean Baptiste Besseck of Leopard reinforced his team by bringing in Franky Essombo, Aldophe Muandjo who counts three goals scored so far and Nsoh Solomon, all at the same time.

Dynamo took charge of the early minutes of the last half and even won a free kick Jordan Dimitri Ngatchaut failed to covert, thanks to a save from goalkeeper Essome.

Mathias Maleb who has scored 6 goals this season, came in and won Dynamo another free kick upon his first attempt on the ball. Justin Money converted the opportunity against helpless goalkeeper Essome, to take Dynamo two goals up.

Grabbing three points in this encounter means, Dynamo are out of the danger zone with now 20 points.

Leopard’s losing streak continues as they now seat in the red zone with 20 points still.
