  • Ngadeu trained with the Dynamo first team to lift the group and keep himself fit before returning to his club
  • Veteran, Ngadeu reunited with the likes of Anye Derick and Joseph Momasso with whom he camped in the senior national team in the build up to AFCON 2017
  • The Beijing Gouan defender has watched a number of top-flight championship matches during his holidays in Cameroon

Robust Cameroonian defender, Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui was the point of attraction throughout Dynamo of Douala’s training session of Monday, December 11.

Winner of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as Cameroon’s top scorer, Ngadeu was part of the college of players guided by coach Yves Clement Arroga at the Tertocam field as the Bana Ba Djob returned to activities less than 24 hours after their disappointing 0-2 defeat to cross town rivals, Astre of Douala.

Ngadeu, 31, who is is affiliated to Chinese Super League side Beijing Gouan decided to train with the MTN Elite One Pool A leaders to keep his fitness on the back of a 30-game season during which he scored once and provided one assist.

The former Indomitable Lions’ deputy captain’s move makes him the third player of that ‘miracle generation’ to engage in such an act. Earlier this year, Fai Collins Ngoran and Robert Ndip Tambe were spotted in training with players of Victoria United FC and ISOHSA of Limbe respectively as part of their vacation activities.

Ngadeu’s move is certainly a galvanizer for players of the high-flying Elite One championship side as they hope to achieve as much as the Bafang native.

The former Gent skipper is expected to return to China later this month to begin preparations for the next Chinese Super League season.

Before then, Ngadeu who won 38 caps for Cameroon and featured at three AFCON tournaments and the 2017 FIFA Confederation Cup is enjoying his time with his peers plying their trade in Cameroon’s flagship championship.
