Kogi FC Appoints New Coach, Elevates Chidi Oji To Technical Adviser

The Management Of Kogi United FC have secured the services of Former Apex Krane Manager, Coach Yusuf Salihu as it’s New Chief Coach while elevating Coach Chidi Oji to the position of Technical Adviser of the Club.

In a Brief Ceremony at the Office of the Chairman of the Club situated inside the Glass House of Kogi State Government house Lokoja, the Chairman Honourable Abdulmalik Isah welcomed the New Chief Coach and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the Club saying his track records and where he has worked before speaks volumes and that’s why he was appointed.

Team Manager Of Kogi United Fc, Mallam Tijani Ibrahim said Coach Yusuf Salihu was appointed from a long list of Coaches because of his discipline as someone with Military experience and his knowledge of the Nigeria Football terrain. He said one basic ingredient that brings result to an Organization is absolute discipline which he believes the New Coach can bring into the Team both off and on the field.

The New Coach thank God Almighty for making this day possible and the Management Of the team under the chairmanship of Honourable Abdulmalik Isah for finding him worthy to be appointed as Chief Coach promising not to disappoint him.

Coach Yusuf Salihu said it’s painful to see a big Club like Kogi United Fc Passing through difficulties especially in the League almost every year. The former Head Coach/Head Scout and Technical Adviser Of Top pro Sports Management said if there’s absolute discipline, dedication and commitment, the club will achieve it’s objectives.

” Commitment, Loyalty, Cohesion, Dedication to duty, trust and a very good working relationship are few basic ingredients needed by an Organization to produce optimum results and I promised we will be aggressively determined and dedicated to duty which will inturn yield good and Positive results ” Coach Yusuf said.

He however promised to work closely with the Technical Adviser and other Technical staff to ensure that Kogi United takes it rightful place in the Nigeria Football circle.

Newly promoted Technical Adviser Coach Chidi Oji while appreciating the management said the Coaching Crew will work hard and closely this season to avoid the mistakes of the past.
