The 2023 National Interpools ongoing in Yaounde have reached its business end with the semi finalists now known.
The four semi finalists are expected to battle for the two available tickets for the elite two championship.
In Pool A, Isle of Hope Sports Academy, ISOHSA, of Limbe, champions of the South West region qualified for the semi finals after topping the group with 8 points. In four matches played, ISOHSA won two and recorded two draws, bagging home 8 points. Of the four teams left in the competition, they are the only team yet to record a defeat.
Volcan Football Club of Noun, champions of the West region, qualified second in Pool A with 7 points. They picked up two wins, a draw and a defeat in four matches played.
Meanwhile in Pool B, North West Regional Football League champions Bafmeng United Football Academy finished top of the group with 9 points after three wins and a defeat.
Pouma Football Club who emerged champions of the Littoral region finished second in Pool B with 7 points. The team picked up two wins, a draw and a defeat.
In the semi finals, ISOHSA of Limbe will clash with Pouma FC while Bafmeng United will log horns with Volcan FC of Noun.
Winners of the two semi final matches will automatically qualify for the elite two championship.
The semi final matches will be played on Thursday July 27, 2023 at the Ngoa-Ekelle stadium in Yaounde.
