Tebug Kingsley does it again at ISOHSA

Three-time South West regional Championship winner, Kingsley Tebug has earned Elite Two promotion for the second time in his career after doing so last season with Victoria United.

Tebug was in that star-studded side that emerged champions ‘down south’ three times, but the latter is looking to break the National Interpools jinx and emerge champion of the national Interpools for the first time.

Tebug, a former skipper of Victoria United, has played chunks of the campaign and helped ISOHSA concede just nine goals all season.

In fact, at this level of the competition, Tebug and co have conceded three goals in five games, which came against Volcan du Noun – on game day two and against Nyom II in match day four.

The great defender with unerring anticipation and unmatched strength, Tebug has wowed fans in this year’s Interpools.

The sweeper has been paired alongside; Ashu Cezero, Tambi Moki, Joel Etouge (of blessed memory), Bryan Kum and Wilson Ngange, but he has always been part of the mix.

Coach Nlend Ayme will rely on Kingsley’s know-how when ISOHSA tackles Bafmeng United in the final of the 2023 national Interpools on Sunday.

A win will get Tebug and co the champions crown for the first time in his career. Tebug has started every game in ISOHSA’s run to the final of the competition.
