Cameroonian golfers opened day one, of the Cameroon-Nigeria Golf Friendship Tournament by picking an impressive 8 points to 6 victory against their Nigerian counterparts.
The tight game took place on May 18, at the Yaounde Golf Club . The encounter came to an end on a two point different margin.
The competition’s opener was graced by the presence of Colonel Hamad Kalkaba Malboum ,who doubles as President of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee and of the African Athletics Confederation.
Alongside a top rank official of the Nigerian High Commission to Cameroon, who’s presence was a strong push factor to the various competitors.
It should be recalled that, the two- States golf Jamboree, is aimed at Fostering the longstanding bilateral relationship existing between both brotherly nations. Who share many values in common.
