Djiko FC goalkeeper and skipper Sodea Eric scored twice to earn a point for his club in a 2-2 draw against UMS of Loum last Sunday at the Bandjoun Municipal Stadium.

Djiko FC cancelled 10-man UMS’ lead twice through Sodea as beat Camille Noah Ombodo twice from the spot in the game.

Sodea leveled scores for Djiko FC, dispatching a penalty won by Eric Cantona to make it 1-1 nine minutes after Thierry Roland Ngalle had given UMS of Loum a 53rd minute lead.

The long-serving Djiko FC goalkeeper in his tenth season at the club scored his second of the afternoon in the 90th minute, canceling the 2-1 lead Joseph Julian Momaso had given the 2016 champions.

Eric Love was sent off midway into the second segment of the game but the talking point of the game was the brace from goalkeeper Sodea who took his season tally to four goals.

The veteran custodian has scored in the last five seasons in the top-flight championship.

The game finished 2-2, giving UMS a point that took their season tally to 23 points which leaves them on the ninth spot in Pool A.

UMS full-back Carlain Manga Mbah was red carded after the full-time for confronting the match officials, adding to the 63rd minute sending off of Yvan Mboudou.

Djiko will face YOSA in the relegation playoff fixture in a fortnight in Douala.
