As part of events to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Marc-Vivien Foe’s death, ex Cameroon internationals will play a friendly match against a National Social Insurance Fund (CNPS) team on Sunday June 25 at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon.

The event organized by Tchoutang Bernard Samuel of the 2000 generation of the Indomitable Lions will be graced by the presence of a bunch of the boys from his generation and the other generations.

This year will make 20 years since the tragic death of the former Lyon, Manchester City and West Ham midfielder who made over 50 appearances for Cameroon.

Foe died on the field on June 26 2003 in a semi-final of a FIFA Confederation Cup game against Colombia.

He was arguably one if the most adorable footballer if the 2000 generation. Unfortunately the former Canon Yaounde man died without fulfilling his full capacity.

The memorial game is expected to kick-off at 3PM but the stadium will be opened for fans one hour before the start of the event.
