The President of PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda, Pascal Abunde has dedicated his team’s quarter final victory against Dynamo of Douala for their late former President Ni John Fru Ndi who passed away recently.

The Abakwa Boys defeated Dynamo of Douala 6#5 at the Ngoa-Ekelle stadium in Yaounde on Sunday June 18, 2023 in post match penalties after both teams had played a one all draw.

Speaking after the match, President Abunde Pascal dedicated the victory to the late John Fru Ndi who he described as a father.

“I remember in April 2015, he handed this team to me at his Ntarinkon residence. Since then he has always supported us and I told the players to win the match for him”, Abunde Pascal said.
