The deep lying midfielder who is affectionately referred to as ‘box-to-box’ by coach Nlend Ayme – has been an absolute servant, though his role could be a little more appreciated.
Alex, born and raised in the town of Tiko, a gateway city to the South West region, has formerly played for EEMSA.
The youngster’s arrival was masterminded by club vice president, Angu Lesley, and C.E.O, Karl Mokake. Both club executives convinced Alex to join the ISOHSA project way! Ahead of time last season.
The club’s trust in Alex has come to fruition. One of the few players to have started all the games, Chi’s energy throughout is unmatched.
For those endowed with football knowledge, the player’s importance was highlighted when he was substituted with 25 minutes left to the end of the ISOHSA Vs. Academy Nyom game.
Having left the field with ISOHSA leading 3-0, Nyom scored twice in quick succession and nearly equalized, with the defense frequently exposed.
Chi Alex is a contender for ISOHSA player of the season. He will be in action against Bafmeng United on Sunday, July 30 – in the final of the national Interpools.
