- The 25-year-old set Simba SC campaign underway with the bullet header
Che Malone Fondoh Junior has scored his first goal as a Simba SC player close to a year after joining the club from Cotonsport of Garoua in a celebrated move.
Che rose highest and directed a fine Joshua Mutale cross into the roof of the Tabora United net, registering the first goal of the season for the Ngovu Moja at home.
The Cameroon international who has developed into a fans faithful in just 12 months won the corner, then helped to make it count.
Simba SC bypassed a number of occasions to double the advantage before the interval largely thanks to poor finishing.
Goals deep in the second segment from Valentino Mashaka and Awesu Awesu completed the rout as the Dar Es Salaam giants secured their first three points of the season at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium.
The first goal of the season for Simba SC and the 25-year-old Cameroonian defender marks a perfect start to the season even without key forward Leonel Ateba, who was signed this week.
Simba SC will face Fountain Gate in their next League outing of the Tanzanian Premier League.
