French Ligue 2 side, SC Amiens have completed the signing of versatile Cameroonian midfielder, Frank Boya from Belgian Jupiler Pro outfit, Royal Antwerp FC.

The 27-year-old completed formalities on Friday and penned a three-year deal worth €3 Million (1.97 Billion FCFA), thus bringing an end to his stay at Antwerp.

The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner and 2016 Cup of Cameroon winner spent last season on loan at Sint-Truiden, where he made 31 appearances last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Before the switch, Boya was under contract with Antwerp until 2024, entering into his final year. The Cameroon international will bring a wealth of experience from Belgium where he made 113 top flight appearances, featuring in the Europa League five times.

The Former APEJES skipper is expected to complement his new club’s efforts to secure promotion to the French Ligue 1 championship within the shortest possible time.

Boya follows the likes of Aurelien Chedjou and Guy Adolphe Ngosso Massouma as the rare Cameroonians to play for the French club.
