The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) a partnership with the Swiss sportswear brand FOURTEEN, naming it the new equipment supplier for the national football teams.
This decision, according to a press release on its social media platform on Tuesday February 4, comes after a thorough evaluation process, where FECAFOOT assessed multiple bids to ensure the best fit for it’s teams. The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of apparel provided to the Indomitable Lions, as well as the women’s and youth teams.
FOURTEEN’s selection is viewed as a strategic move to modernize and elevate the image of Cameroon football on both national and international stages. The federation expressed confidence in FOURTEEN’s ability to deliver high-quality, stylish, and performance-oriented gear that aligns with the aspirations of the teams and their supporters.
Fourteen comes to join a prestigious line of kit makers for the emblematic indomitable lions. They replace One all sport, whose contract was abruptly cut short back in 2024.
Founded in 2011 by Andrea Picciau in Geneva, FOURTEEN has established itself as a premium sportswear brand known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customization. The brand’s identity combines Swiss precision with Italian design aesthetics, offering high-performance apparel tailored for various sports.
While FOURTEEN is not yet a household name in football, it has built a reputation through collaborations with other sports federations and clubs. Notably, it has worked with organizations like the Swiss Tennis Federation and the Swiss Basketball Federation, as well as smaller football clubs such as CS Italien Genève in Switzerland and Bendel FC and Edo queens in Nigeria.
Cameroon represents FOURTEEN’s first major foray into national football team kits, making this partnership a significant milestone for the brand. It is uncertain what the detail of the deal is but from the press release it shows it was the most lucrative amongst the offers
FOURTEEN not only focuses on sportswear. It has expanded its reach through collaborations with luxury brands and events. Its partnerships include notable organizations such as Alpian Bank and Banque Gonet.
