CAF president to attend AFCON 2023 Quarter-finals in Bouake and Yamoussoukro today

The President of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, Dr. Patrice Motsepe will attend the two AFCON quarter final matches to take place in Bouake and Yamoussoukro this February 3, 2024.

So far, Dr. Patrice Motsepe has attended over 80% of matches in the tournament.

The CAF President is expected to start in Bouake where Mali log horns with the host nation Cote D’Ivoire before moving to Yamoussoukro where he will watch South Africa versus Cape Verde. South Africa is chasing their first semi finals in 24 years.

Since arriving Cote D’Ivoire for the tournament, the CAF President has watch about 80% of matches.

Recently, he made a donation of 500 000 USD to the Catholic Church and Muslim community through his foundation, the Motsepe foundation.
