Bansoa Sports Academy and Hemle FC de Botko have secured promotion to the Cameroon Guinness Super League after winning their respective promotion playoff matches on Sunday.
Bansoa Sports Academy booked their place in the top flight with a convincing 3-1 victory over Lion du Sahel at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium. The Western Region side produced a commanding performance to claim one of the two available promotion tickets.
The second ticket went to Hemle FC de Botko, who edged Nososi FF of Yaoundé 1-0 at the Annex 1 Stadium of the Yaoundé Omnisports Complex.
The decisive moment came in the 21st minute when Kibon Mediatress brilliantly converted a free-kick to score the only goal of the encounter. Hemle FC defended resolutely for the remainder of the match to preserve their lead and shatter Nososi FF’s hopes of reaching the elite division.
The victories confirm Bansoa Sports Academy and Hemle FC de Botko as the two clubs promoted to the 2026/27 Guinness Super League season.
They replace Fondation AGAI FF de Pitoa and AS Dibamba, who were relegated at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, completing the lineup for the upcoming season of Cameroon’s top-flight women’s football championship.
