Exciting Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe forward Albert Tiku Egbe moved to the top of the scorers chart on Thursday after scoring a brace to earn a 2-0 win against Pouma FC in the semi-final of the 2023 National Interpools.

Tiku who has been one of the best performers during the tournament scored twice in under 20 minutes, adding to the brace against Sporting FC of Maroua to take his tally in the tournament to four goals in five games.

Tiku who was the difference between both sides all afternoon leaves a pack of golden boot chasers with two goals.

The 2023 Southwest Regional Championship most valuable player is bookmakers favourite to claim the same crown at the ongoing national Interpools going by his performances throughout the two weeks competition.

Tiku could win the Golden Boot and the MVP award after Sunday’s final if he repeats his semi-final display and Enah Ashu Toda of Bafmeng United FA fails to add to his three goals so far in the competition.

Last year Maurice Bibout of Aigle Royal of Moungo won the prize after helping Aigle gain promotion to Elite 2.
