The two injured players, Vincent Aboubakar and Christopher Wooh returned to training with the Cameroon’s senior men’s national team during the team’s final session in preparation for their second group game against holders, Senegal.
For 60 minutes, the five-time African champions did a dress rehearsal of their overall movements, under the gaze of the accredited press, admitted to cover the first 15 minutes of the session which recorded the active presence of Vincent Aboubakar and Christopher Wooh.
The duo returned to the field after a few days of work in the gym.
The Indomitable Lions trained for the last time on the afternoon of January 18, 2024 at the INPHB South in Yamoussoukro, before the game against the Teranga Lions this Friday at the Charles Konan Banny stadium.

Without complexes, they both reiterated their determination to beat Senegal, an opponent they have always beaten in the final phase of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in their last three confrontations.
On January 19, 2024, the Indomitable Lions will face the reigning African champions.
The start of the match is scheduled from 5 p.m. at the Charles Konan Banny stadium, it will be 6 p.m. in Cameroon.
Cameroon need a win or avoid defeat to stand the chance of qualifying from the group after playing out a 1-1 draw with Guinea in their opening match.
