German football legend Oliver Kahn has arrived in Cameroon to take part in the EXP Summit 2026, which gets underway in Douala.
The former Bayern Munich goalkeeper and captain is expected to be one of the major speakers at the summit, where he will share his experience and insights from a remarkable career in football and sports management.
Kahn, 57, is one of the most decorated goalkeepers in German football history. He spent the majority of his playing career at Bayern Munich, becoming a club icon and captaining the Bavarian giants to Champions League glory in 2001.
His career also included numerous domestic and international honours, while he established a reputation as one of the most influential goalkeepers of his generation.
After retiring from playing, Kahn moved into football administration and eventually served as chief executive officer of Bayern Munich, giving him experience on both sides of the game – from the pitch to the boardroom.
His appearance at the EXP Summit represents a new chapter, with the former Germany international expected to discuss leadership, sporting excellence, business and lessons from his decades at the highest level of football.
Kahn will be officially presented to the public on Thursday, 3 September, at the Krystal Palace Hotel in Douala.
His arrival adds significant international appeal to the EXP Summit 2026 and offers Cameroon’s football and business communities an opportunity to hear directly from one of European football’s most recognisable figures.
