The Coordinator of the national team, Timothée Atouba Essama, has officially expressed his disagreement with the appointment of French coach Patrice Carteron as head of the Indomitable Lions.
In a letter addressed to the Secretary General of FECAFOOT, he made it clear that he does not support the decision.
This development adds a new layer to the ongoing tensions around the management of the national team.
For many observers, the move confirms suspicions that a coordinated effort was put in place to destabilize Marc Brys and weaken the Indomitable Lions—especially after the sidelining of Mununga, a situation some believe was engineered to compromise Cameroon’s World Cup ambitions.
The debate continues to intensify as fans question the motives and timing behind these decisions.
