Once a powerhouse in Cameroon’s top flight, the West regional champions opened their campaign with a commanding 2-0 victory over Olympique de Meiganga.
A first-half penalty from Fifen Abdou (45+1’) gave them the edge before Stephane Abada (59’) sealed the result after the break. It was a performance full of composure, confidence, and control, signaling that Sable remain a force to reckon with in this year’s competition.
The second Pool A encounter of the day saw Kumba City FC overpower Diamant FC of Yagoua in a lively 3-1 win. Ventoline Wafou (8’) gave the South West side an early lead, but Nouhou Mazou (22’) quickly equalized for Diamant.

Behind the goals, goalkeeper Erwin Njoh stood tall with a clean sheet, organizing his defense and frustrating the opposition with safe hands and calm composure. Titanic’s display was ruthless, efficient, and the perfect launchpad for their campaign.
The day’s drama reached its peak when Dream Team FC Bamenda, champions of the North West region, edged Epervier Ebolowa 2-1 in a thrilling contest. Epervier started brightly with Jean Baptiste Onana (11’) finding the net, but Peruda Ndifon Ndichia turned the game around with two clinical strikes in the 29th and 38th minutes.
Dream Team’s resilience was tested after goalkeeper Ngam Leonard was sent off for handling the ball outside his area, leaving them with 10 men for the final stretch. Despite the disadvantage, the Bamenda side held firm to protect their lead, proving their grit and determination. Two shots, two goals, and three priceless points,Dream Team lived up to their name.
