Equatorial Guinea recorded their first win at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after a 4-2 victory over Guinea Bissau at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Thursday.
It took the first 21 minutes of play for Equatorial Guinea to take the lead through captain, Emilio Nsue Lopez.

Jose Correia reduced the deficit for Guinea Bissau but it wasn’t enough to prevent another loss.
With the win, Juan Micha’s side moved top of the table with four points after teo games ahead of Cote D’Ivoire clash with Nigeria.
