Struggling Premier League side Nottingham Forest have sent potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender on a season-long loan to second tier French side EA Guingamp.

Reports on British media this Tuesday confirmed the 21-year-old who has suffered lack of game time at Forest has agreed to return to France and fight for more game time before the end of the current season.

The French Cameroon born in Nanga Eboko joined Forest in September 2020 from French giants PSG but could only manage 12 appearances during his time at the club, thus prompting the need to go away in search of game time.

Forest confirmed the deal via a post on their social media handle on Monday.

Stéphane Dumont, the current manager of Guingamp is a big fan of Soh’s game style and played a huge role in making him join the Red and Black.

Guingamp’s porous defense has shipped in 27 goals this season, which is one of the worst in the league thus explaining the gaffer’s keen interest in getting an experience and athletic defender like Mbe who make them tighter at the back and climb further above the 13th spot they currently occupy.

Soh will join the likes of Guy Roland Ndy Assembe, Paul Georges Ntep, Felix Eboa Eboa, Patrick Leugeuen et al as Cameroonians who played for Guingamp when he and his debut this weekend or later.
