Cameroon and outstanding Indomitable Lions shot-stopper Andre Onana, has been retained for the nominee of the FIFA.com Best Men’s Goalkeeper.

The 27-year-old prolific glove-man who hails from Ngol Ngok, Centre region of Cameroon was pivotal for Inter Milan, during last season’s Italian Series A League. And in the European Champions League competition. Despite the 1-0 defeat suffered by his side against Manchester City.

Andre has as competitors for The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper Nominees; Yassine Bounou (Morocco); Thibaut Courtois (Belgium); Ederson (Brazil); André Onana (Cameroon); Marc-André ter Stegen (Germany).

It is worthy of note that, Andre’s active and strong engagement in taking the country’s flag to higher heights, has always been his credo, as could be acknowledged during the scintillating 3-0 defeat of the Swallows of Burundi, by the Indomitable Lions on September 12.

For a qualification ticket, prior to the upcoming 2023 TotalEnergies African Cup of Nation, to take place on Ivorian soil in January 2024.
