Cameroons right-back, Fai Collins, has parted ways with his Saudi Arabian side, Al-Tai FC, after two seasons.

The club announced this news on their social media page with an “All the love and thank you” Caption to the now ex vice captain of the squad and his other teammates laid off.

The 30-year-old who joined this side in January 2022 from Belgian top flight Standard Liege is now a free agent.

Fai featured for Al-Tai in over twenty-five games in the 2022-2023 season of the Saudi Arabia pro league, offering five assists.

His creativity and mastery of the game helped cement Al-Tai stay afloat in the just ended season of the Saudi Arabia League, finishing nine with 34 points.

“Dependable” Fai as he is regarded by fans, has been a key element in Rigobert Song’s squad. From playing in the world cup to participating in the Africa cup of nations qualifiers against Burundi.

His most recent appearance for the lions was against Mexico in the United States.
