After stints at Union and Canon the 2019 Cup of Cameroon winner returned to Stade Renard in the build up to the just-ended season. He was pivotal to their satisfactory season, keeping 12 clean sheets in 20 matches for coach Olivier Nankam’s team.

Lako was part of the players recently invited to the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon team for the preparatory camp ahead of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Besides Lako, Cotonsport are in negotiation with a number of players as they hope to build a formidable side for next season’s competitions.
