Cameroon International and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana will no longer feature for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Kick442.com has gathered from reliable sources that the goalkeeper has been given his return air ticket by officials of the Cameroon Football Federation, meaning he is expected to leave the lion’s den and will not feature again in the tournament.

Andre Onana missed Cameroon’s second group G match after he was suspended by head coach Rigobert Song.

According to the coach, Andre Onana was suspended due to indiscipline and some behavioral issues in the den.

It should be noted that Andre Onana was not suspended because of his style of play as reported on the media earlier on Monday, November 28, 2022.

The Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT is expected to communicate on the issue in the days ahead.

It’s not the first that Andre Onana is having this kind of situation. In 2016, he was sent out of camp by Hugo Broos for behavioral issues.

However, Andre Onana, according to Equinox TV reporters in Doha has insisted that he doesn’t have any problem with any member of staff, the coach, or Samuel Eto’o. According to them, Onana said, “a decision has been taken and I respect it”.
