Tunisian giants Esperance of Tunis have reached out to the entourage of Che Malone Fondoh Junior to gather details as part of their moves to sign the player, kick442.com has learned.
The 24-year-old Cotonsport of Garoua defender is a subject of transfer interest from a host of clubs across the continent, Esperance of Tunis is the latest per our findings.
This Pan-African Sports News Agency understands the player linked with a move to Simba SC and Singida Big Stars of Tanzania is a major target for Esperance, who are keen on adding more bodies in the heart of their defence.
Che has left a lasting impression in the past two seasons at Cotonsport – winning the domestic championship on two occasions and the cup of Cameroon too.
The highly-rated former Union Sportive of Douala and Continental FA of sweeper played ten games last season in the CAF Champions League for Cotonsport. In all he counts 68 appearances in two seasons at Cotonsport, having joined them in 2021 from Union Sportive of Douala.
This week Coton received and rejected a $40 offer for the player from Simba SC.
Though Esperance is as the embroidery phase of the deal, they are expected to pay higher to lure the player whose entourage rejected $50k from Algerian giants CR Belouizdad last January.
