Anicet Mbarga Foe has stepped down from his role as head coach of Cameroon Elite One side Colombe of Dja and Lobo. The club and coach have agreed to suspend their collaboration till further notice.

kick442.com has gathered that the decision was madeast Monday, on the hills of the club’s 1-2 defeat to UMS of Loum in their match day 17 fixture of the MTN Elite 1 championship.

Mbarga Foe’s Colombe have failed to win any of their six league games since the second segment of the season began in mid February.

Colombe have since lost four and played a draw in their last six matches, prompting management to suspend him.

Desire Disso who worked under Mbarga as a deputy will take charge of the team till when hierarchy makes an otherwise decision.

Colombe was a favorite for the title playoff, but recent results have made them worry more about the teams behind them than those ahead of them.

More to come……..
