Eight teams will battle it out for the 2023 Profemateur 7, an annual tournament meant to celebrate Super Falcons and women’s footballers.
The program which is initiated by Royaltoms International Football Academy (RIFA) will take place later this month in Sango Ota, Ogun State.
The participating teams are Henrietta Ukaigwe Queens, Elizabeth Johnson Queens, Kolawole Queens, Onosky Angels, Ann Chinyere Angels, Adesewa Bello Queens, T.D. Queens, Monday Queens, and Anjor Ladies.
This year’s edition aim to immortalise women’s football enthusiast, Late Henrietta Ukaigwe, and former Sunshine Queens goalkeeper who died last year, Elizabeth Johnson (Janded).
The women’s football tournament will take place from October 27 to November 5, 2023.
The venue is Igbo Lawyer Field, Adalemo Bus Stop, Sango Ota, Ogun State.
Henrietta Ukaigwe won the 7-aside tournament last year.
