Forward Dauda Yakubu scored the only goal on Saturday as Bafmeng United FA edged Racing Bafoussam to earn their second win in the MTN Elite Two championship this season.

Captain Ngam Leonard and co took the game to coach Benjamin Mongo’s men and pressed until they scored the opener.
Dauda found the back of the Racing net a minute before the break, putting the hosts on their way to a first home win.
Though Racing Bafoussam pushed more after going behind, experienced Nchindo Cletus and co sealed the backline to ensure that they kept another clean sheet and the lead.
The game finished 1-0 in favor of the newcomers who extend their unbeaten run in the championship to five games, during which they have won two and played parity on three occasions.
Unbeaten Bafmeng moves into the promotion playoffs positions in Pool A of the championship, ahead of their last game of the first round against Unisport of Bafang.
