Cotonsport’s Brice Eboudje completes switch to Portugal

Portuguese top-flight franchise GD Chaves have confirmed the signing of Cameroon youth international Brice Romuald Arnaud Eboudje from Cotonsport of Garoua on a five-year deal.

The 19-year-old talented midfielder who initially joined the club reserves on tryouts basis convinced management to give him a long-term contract and will join the first team to continue his development.

His impressive performances for Cotonsport played a pivotal role in getting him this opportunity. He was a key player for the club when they won their third consecutive title last season.

The 2023 Francophonie games winner may feature in the final games of the season before engaging in full next season.

The box-to-box midfielder adds to a long list of Cotonsport products that have switched to Europe in recent weeks.

Noted for his built and strength, Brice will bring a lot to the club and is expected to create an instant impact and be a top market product in the years to come.
