The Zambian women’s national team are off to Europe for an international camp in Germany.

The Copper Queens will play three friendlies in Europe set to spice up preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The team left KKIA aboard Emirates flight at 21h45  and will head to Frankfurt via Dubai.

Top on the bill of friendlies for the Southern African champions is a clash with former World champions, Germany on July 7.

The 2022 WAFCON bronze medalist edged Tanzania 1-0 in its last friendly match before jetting out to Germany.

Zambia has a daunting task in the group stage of the World Cup against former Champions, Japan.

It will also face Spain and Costa Rica in Group C of its maiden appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
