Veteran Cameroonian forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has been offered to reigning Italian Serie A giants FC Inter Milan barely days after it was announced he is leaving Munich after four successful seasons at FC Bayern.
The 35-year-old Cameroon international who scored 38 goals and made 12 assists in 122 goals for the German giants with whom he won six trophies has been proposed by his agent to the Italian club who prefer to look into the file later in the transfer window.
Should the deal go through, it will provide an opportunity for Choupo-Moting to continue to play football at a high level and play for great clubs like PSG, Schalke, Bayern and Inter.
The Inter idea may not be coming from the no where as almost every summer, Bayern does business with the Italians. French defender Benjamin Pavard and Swiss number one goalkeeper Yann Sommer are all products of that process.
Sources say Choupo-Moting has been in conversation with his former teammates. This could play a crucial role in the whole process.
Whatever the situation, the Nerazzurri who have Samuel Eto’o as their souvenir Cameroonian striker and remember the strides of Pierre Wome could just take chance to sign Choupo-Moting.
