Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana Onana, who is expected to arrive in London to put pen to paper on a contract in the near future.

The Cameroon is expected to join on a €50 millions deal as Mauricio Pochetino’s first signing of the summer.

The London club’s technical and performance advisors have highlighted Onana as the ideal man to compete with current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga for minutes next season.

Multiple sources are running the news that Chelsea had reached an agreement with the player though Inter is yet to agree just how much the Blues have agreed to pay.

Sources say Onana’s is expected to arrive in London in the coming days, with only a medical standing in the way of an official announcement.

Onana who joined Inter Milan last summer from Ajax Amsterdam has had a great season, helping the Narazzuri win the Italian Super cup and the Cup, plus finish runners-up to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

A move to England will make him the first Cameroonian goalkeeper to play in the English Premier League.
