Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) goalkeeping Che Randy Nji has revealed he didn’t feel complete despite his outstanding performance which helped his club win a point last Saturday at home to Eding Sport de la Lekie at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.
The former Canon Yaoundé keeper made four outstanding saves including a one-on-one save in the last minute of the game to become the first ISOHSA keeper to keep a clean sheet against Eding Sport.
Despite that display which won plaudits across the board, the keeper says he was happy but unsatisfied.
“It was a great display from the entire team, on days like this a 1-0 win is just enough. We gave a lot on the day and it could have been great to go away with all three points. The clean sheet is satisfying but it could have been more pleasing if it was three points,” Randy told kick442.com a few hours after the game.
The Cameroon national football Academy (ANAFOOT) graduate joined ISOHSA in the build up to the current campaign from Canon Yaoundé and watched Ashu Kelvin Mbah play in the win against TKC from the stands before stepping in to stage the wonderful display.
Randy and co are back in the training this week, grinding hard in hope to be sharper in front of goal when they welcome Djiko FC of Bandjoun on match day four of the MTN Elite Two championship this Saturday at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.
ISOHSA currently occupying the fourth place on the log with four points from two games will be hoping for a result to improve their rankings in Pool A of the championship.
