Chantal Biya National VTT Cycling Race:Feudjeu, Lé,Tega shines in second edition

The second edition of the Chantal Biya National VTT Cycling Race, drew it’s curtains on March 30,with Feudjeu Mariole, Martinez Tega and Joseph Lé ending ontop spot as overall winners.

The bicycle Jamboree that unfolded in the Haute Nyong, brought together some 120 cyclists, from the ten regions of the national territory.

The winners were awarded huge cheques as well as some valuable products,as recognition for their brilliant performance.

Apart from being a sports event,there were some cultural manifestations and exhibitions from the people of the Haute Nyong and Abong Mbang,East region of Cameroon.

Present at the ceremony, was Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi of Sports and Physical Education, who give the kickoff race.

He used the opportunity to laud the actions of the First Lady Madame Chantal Biya, for her ceaseless efforts in accompanying the Cameroonian Sports movement.

Also present were a cream of members of government, to the likes of Ministers, Celestine Ketcha Courtes, Mbah Acha Rose,Jean De Dieu Momo, Armand Ndjodom, Jules Doret Ndongo, Col Hamad Kalkaba Malboum,The Personal Adviser to the Central African Republic Head of State and Armand Claude Ananda and elites of the East region.

Not forgetting members of the East region traditional council. To graced the ceremony, was the presence of the Paramount ruler of Bangangte.

The bicycle fiesta, marked by much colour and fanfare, ended with the participants taking the appointment for December 7.

The second edition of the VTT Bicycle race held at Bagofit Sun City , on November 25,2023 had the following results;

2- Mabou Cyrille ( Centre)

MASTER 2 Category
1–Foti Didier (West)
2-Tabi Primus (Littoral)
3-Yana Anicet ( Centre)

4-Ladies Category
1–Ngono Oyoa (Centre)
2–Obiloma Buana ( Centre)
3–Nnap Lathifa (Littoral)

Prestige Category
1–Joseph LE (Minister)
2–Armand Ndjodom ( Secretary of State )
3–Jean De Dieu MOMO (Minister Delegate)
