Cameroon’s Ze agrees to join WAC

Wydad Athletic Club of Casablanca have agreed a deal to sign exciting Cameroonian forward Didier Lamkel Ze on a season long loan.

The out of favor forward will join the 2022 FIFA club World Cup bound WAC from Belgian side kV Courtrai.

All has been sorted for Lamkel to depart from Europe at 5PM to Morocco where he will finalize medical and health formalities before signing.

The former Royal Antwerp forward will have a chance to restart his career when the club engages in the Club World Cup Morocco is hosting next month plus get a run of games in the CAF Champions League and the Moroccan Botola Pro.

Ze, 26 will bring the experience he garnered from French sides Lille, FC Metz plus his Russian stop Khimkii among others to the good of the club.

He won his first and only cap for Cameroon against Cape Verde Islands in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game that ended in a goalless draw.

Many are those who still think the Brasserie Football Academy graduate can still have a late charge towards glory.
