Legendary goal poacher Albert Roger Milla, has told current Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) president Samuel Eto’o, to take criticisms in good faith especially those coming from former footballers.

Tongues have been wagging on the current state of the country’s football and it’s management, with Pierre Wome and a handful of others expressing disatisfaction about the way things are managed.

Though without evidence, some have been quick to say those speaking will be blacklisted.

Speaking during a recent Radio appearance on Royal FM, Milla reiterated that some former Indomitable lions shouldn’t be excluded from the management of the Cameroonian football, rather their criticism should be a value.

“The president must react quickly because this is for us. It disturbs to see him being criticized rightly or wrongly on social networks. It is imperative for him to react following these numerous criticisms.”

“When we put in place this federation led by footballers, we had plans to meet afterwards to plan the basics of managing our football together. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen because of a misunderstanding. It’s time we meet again. It is unacceptable that all the elders are excluded from the federation.” He Added

The iconic striker’s outing, comes into spotlight, at time when the President of FECAFOOT is receiving punches left and right from many, questioning his managerial skills. Likewise the caliber of persons surrounding him. Though his will to improve things is not questionable.

Milla added there have been close to having a clash between the two most successful generation of Cameroon’s most successful teams.

“There was even almost a clash of generations. Those who won the Olympic Games wanted to compare themselves to us at the 1990 World Cup. I told them not to compare the World Cup to the Olympic Games because it’s two different levels.” He concluded.

However, many football pundits and fans are divided about the new FECAFOOT team, taking into consideration the results recorded by the various national football selections lately.
