Caiman Filles picked up their third win of the season

The hosts spank FAP 3-0 in a game the visitors had both of their keepers sent off by Referee Bayiha Sara

The result takes Caiman up to the eight spot on the log while FAP remains 11th after game week 12

Relegation-threatened Caiman were comfortable 3-0 winners against fellow strugglers Amazone FAP on Saturday as the Guinness Super League championship resumed after a close to two months break.

Visiting FAP had a day to forget at the Bonanoussadi stadium as they finished the game with nine players and no trained goalkeeper after their first and second shot stoppers were sent off in the chaotic afternoon and the home of the 2013 champions.

Star lady Brenda Ebobise put the hosts ahead just nine minutes into the contest with a beautifully taken free-kick that left the FAP keeper rooted to the spot.

Caiman spent a bunch of the first segment in the half of Amazone FAP who looked completely uninspired especially with the absence of key players like Naomie Eto Leslie and Maague Mariane Ines away with the senior national team squad preparing to face Nigeria.

Referee Bayiha Sara turned the game on its head in the second segment when she sent off
Chantal Ngah and Paulette Lea.

Caiman could have scored the second but poor finishing made it stay 1-0 till the interval.

Samantha Djiffo got the second for the home side just nine minutes upon resumption before Chloe Nimpa added the third to put the game to bed with 25 minutes to go.

Coach Tatiana Eboumbou’s Caiman organized and kept it tight to ensure they pick up their third win of the season and take their points tally to ten so far.

The game week 12 result and the points it adds to their general classification takes Caiman up to the eighth spot in the 12-clubs championship while FAP is last-but-one with nine points so far.

Caiman and FAP still remain in the battle to beat the drop with ten games left this season.
