The draw for the Group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League was held on Monday afternoon ,with Uganda representatives Vipers SC drawn in Group C alongside three time continental champions Raja Casablanca.
The other opponents in the group are Tanzania out Simba SC and Horoya A.C from Conakry ,Guinea.
Mixed reactions following the draw ,as people already observing Morocco players reaching the Semi-finals of the FIFA WorldCup ,rivalry between Uganda and Tanzania as they face Simba SC who had long interest in their forward Cesar Manzoki and a trip to Guinea giants Horoya .
The Venoms are making their first appearance on the CAF Champions league group stage ,and this will require them to put in a lot of work to storm the next round.
The match day one for the group stages will played between 10-11th February next year in 2023.
